Enhanced Depreciation u/s 32

If new asset is purchased during the previous year but put to use in the next year,then , is enhanced depreciation allowable in the next year or in this year of purchase or not allowable at all.

Additional depreciation is available only in the year of acquisition and installation of plant or machinery and not afterwards.
so in my consideration in the said case due to the rigid Interpretation of the act, enhanced (or additional ) depreciation shall not be available
