any person cannot simply endorse a cheque . a cheque naming "self" under the pay head can be endorsed, when signed duly by the payer on the back side of the cheque which is not crossed a/c payee.This type of cheque can be endorsed to anybody to anybody. the type of cheque shall be order payee cheque...
