Eligibility for ipcc nov 2016

28 July 2016 Dear Sir/Maam,

I am a Direct Entry student registered for IPCC on 24th August, 2015. I have completed both ITT and OP training and has been registered for Articleship on 1st February, 2016.

I would like to know if I am eligible for Nov 2016 attempt as soon as possible because the last date for filling up exam form for Nov 2016 is 26th August, 2016.

28 July 2016 You are eligible for November 2016 attempt if you have not excess leave. Excess leave means 1/6th of total period served minus Leave taken.
Actually, the student will be eligible for applying for the IPCC exam if the student has completed 9 months of articles on the first day in which the exams are held after adjusting the excess leave, if any. Since you joined for articles on Feb 1, 2016, you have completed 9 months on October 31, 2016. So, you are eligible for the Nov 2016 attempt if no excess leave is taken.

28 July 2016 Thank you so much. But I have one more query. I have taken around 10 days of leave till date, so I would like to be clarified more about the excess leave part. So, does my leave taken so far affected my eligibility for Nov 2016 exam?
