22 August 2013 Sir in the Examination form of the final I got the option for IPCE students that "students serving the last 6 months of articleship as on 01.11.2013 including excess leave."
So if my principal shows me as a absentee for a long period then also I am eligible to appear for the final but my principal is not attesting my examination form.

sir what can i do in this case??

generally with our good conduct in office boss will permit student to write exams by not disclosing excess leave to icai...however with due respect student also work for excess leave taken in this regard

22 August 2013 This matter should be resolved by peaceful talks only as icai have given full permission to members to decide on their own.
So have a talk with your principle on this matter and politely ask him to sign otherwise matter will become more severe and you will be at the receiving end.

22 August 2013 sir i try to convince him but he didn't. If he will not attest my form then i can get it attested from gazette officer or any other member of Institute as options given in the online submission form. The maximum worse he can can do is that he can extend my articleship training period which i after completing the contract period with him can join to other form. Is there any problem ther than that or my interpretation is wrong??
plz guide me sir.

22 August 2013 without his sign even you cannot take transfer and icai will not help you in this matter in any way.

You cannot take help of gazette officer as you need to take sign of your CA only as still you are currently undergoing your articleship training.

22 August 2013 1)for ca final exam eligibility you need to prove that 2.5 years of articleship was served ..for which boss sign mandatory

2)yes,,excess leave can also served with other CA..however all these are icai rules..but your boss should accept for that knoe,,so there is no other option except to convince boss to allow u to go for ca final attempt..if you cant convince him or he did not convince ..there is no option left to you except to do what he says
