Supplier has send the goods but the transporter is stuck in between and the e way bill will expire tonight..Query is who can extend the validity of e way bill? Our supplier or transporter?

Supplier or the transporter, who is carrying the consignment as per the e-way bill system at the time of expiry of validity period, can extend the validity period, before or upto 8 hours of expiry of the validity.
