Dear Experts,
I have registered for Gujarat State only but I have Works Contracts projects in other states. I am going to purchase Material from Gujarat for other state's site (e.g. Maharashtra). How's the supplier will generate e-way bill for delivery in Maharashtra? He will issue bill with CGST&SGST but please guide on e-way bill issue.

You can generate eway bill with delivery address to the location where you want the goods at.

Thanks Udayji for the assist. Further I want to know that if delivery location will be reported then system will ask for GSTRN? What should we mention over registration status? E.g. Registered/Unregistered

No it's a Works Contracts. (Labour + Material) that's we need to transfer material to Maharashtra through purchasing from Gujarat.

It's like a civil work

Since it is civil work, related to building construction, being an immovable property, you can raise invoice only with CGST & SGST. In that case, you need to get registered in that state also where your civil work is done.
