We are a readymade garment manufacturing company. We have workers who works on piece rate basis and whose monthly pay is not fixed. During the year in some months they receives salary beyond ESI limit and in some below of that. Whether they have to be covered under ESI? if yes than how to treat if they receivs salary more than 10000?

Because of this variation the contribution period is spread over six months. Even in one month the salary exceeds the limit, they will still be under cover.
