02 November 2011 I have e-filed the IT returns for the Assessment Year 2011-12 for whole of my family which had 9 returns. 8 e-returns has been processed but still 1 belonging to my brother is still not processed. The system displays that they have found ITR V but still not processed. What can be the reason for the same and what needs to be done from my end

As stated above, the system displays that they have received the ITR return well in time but the same has not been processed. Just wanted to understand why

05 November 2011 Large number of return are submitted from the whole country, so delay in processed can be possible. but the status shown that they have found than not to worry.
