ST - Rs.50L or more in the preceding FY or has already paid ST Rs. 50L in the Current FY is required to deposit the ST electronically thro' internet banking.

ED - Rule 8 has been amended w.e.f 1.4.07 to provide for mandatory e payment of ED by all assesses who have paid ED of Rs.50L or more in cash during the preceding FY.
