This discussion clarifies E Invoicing requirements based on turnover, noting that the threshold of Rs 50 Crores is considered across multiple financial years. It confirms that you can issue e-invoices for April and May retrospectively, even though it's a non-compliance. However, your original invoices will need to be reprinted to include the QR code, and simply keeping a copy of the generated e-invoice alongside the manual one is insufficient.

Dear sir, Turnover of Rs 50 Crores is to be seen last year or any year. If we have not issued any E invoice can we issue E invoice of April and May Month now.

Turnover of 50 crores is to be seen from FY 2017-18 to FY 2020-21. If in any year it crosses threshold limit then E-Invoicing mandatory. Yes you can issue e-invoice of April and may now, although it is a non compliance not to issue e-invoice on time. Plus your actual invoice will also have to be modified. For detailed query you can mail me.
