03 February 2011 Dear Experts,

Pls. suggest advantages of E-Filing of Income tax returns as compared to manual filing in ward, as few of my friends have recieved there refunds of AY 2010-11 who have e-filed there returns, & many who have filed physically in ward there refund of AY 2008-09 is till pending.

So its beneficial to e-file every returns.
pls. suggest merits & demerits of filing returns online.

03 February 2011 E Filing of returns is helpful for the department to automate the processing of your return as soon as you submit it. There is a Central Processing office located at Banglore and all processing take place there and refund will be sent early. If you can e-file your return fully with out errors it is better than manual filing

03 February 2011 Sir, thanks for your response, but pls. suggest in e-filing case if demand has been raised then I have to give reply to banglore or to my ward.

also if refund is not coming when I have e-filed my return then i have to contact at banglore or I can contact at my ward.

also pls. suggest disadvantages of e-filing of return.
