e filing of ITR-confirmation mail from DIT

I am e-filing my ITR first time. As a procedure I have got registered with DIT. But, confirmation mail from DIT for profile
creation not received. so, it is not possible for me to file my ITR as when I login, message come "you are already registration". what to do ???

Try to login again. It will ask you give alternate email id. Give that.

The reason,I presume,is e mail ID given is wrong.
Now you can do the following procedure to reset the PASS WORD.
Go to www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in
Click login against existing user
Click forgot password
Enter user ID (PAN number) and click OK
Give any pet name
Select assessment year as 2009-10
Enter new password twice
Code given may be entered in the column provided just above code.
Click reset password and proceed.
Now you can do the following procedure to reset the PASS WORD.
