Is preparation of bank reconciliation statement duty of auditor in Internal Audit???

Internal auditor is also having the same rights & duties as that of an Statutory auditor. Thus , preparation of BRS is not the obligation and duty of Internal auditor,but if the accountant isn't so much acquainted of the same then IA can do so because he is the part of management.
