ca durect tax and indirect vtax prepare by self studies...for ca final xam.... plzz suggest me and also sugest which book i prefer , presntly i prefer t.n. manohar for dt ... is it gud or not ...can these subjects done by self studies

Dear Anjali
It all depends on your hardwork, perseverance & determination to clear CA with coaching or without coaching.
There are many cases where students have cleared CA exam with merits even without coaching.
If you think that your understanding is limited about the subject the you may go ahead with coaching.
Further for Direct Tax you can refer:
1) V G Gupta's book
2) V K Singhania's book
For Indirect Tax you can refer:
1) Deepak Gupta's book
2) Ajay Jain's book

I agree with Mayank that for clearing ca exams you need to be dedicated.
You can ofcourse clear by self studies.
I had never gone for any coachings...yet cleared all the stages of ca exams at first shot.
For this alongwith the theoritical studies you should have some practical knowledge also which we gain from our articleship as sometimes we need to apply practical logics also while answering the questions.
