DSC Problem in ITR e-filing for companies.

06 August 2010 Dear Friends / Experts,

Is there any problem in e-filing using DSC Class 2 (Individual User Type – Others) for companies ?

Those who have already done the e-filing using DSC for companies may share their experiences, which will be a good guidance to me and also for others, who are yet to file.

Step 1

I am able to register the DSC using e-token – NO ISSUE.

Step 2

Still, I have not commenced e-filing for corporates – PLEASE SHARE EXPERIENCES.

In fact, I have done e-filing for Individuals – NO ISSUE)

I shall wait for the response.

06 August 2010 I efiled return using the pfx file. It was fine. No problem.

What about using e-token - any idea ?
(As our clients are yet not ready, I am unable to gain experience).

Please do share your experience regarding using e-token ?

I e-filed for an individual last year AY 2009-10 using e-token.

That time, I remember, DUE TO ERROR THROWN BY Income tax portal, I have provided the same E-MAIL ID in two places i.e. 1.Profile and 2. Income Tax Return to match with the e-mail id already provided for 3. DSC.

With the above action, I successfully completed the e-filing for individual.

Please share the latest position.

Whether the e-mail id should be identical in all the three places

1. DSC
2. Profile
3. Income tax return
