10 July 2016 Dear team,
What is the mean by drawbacks duty while export any material.
And how could I know my ad code registration at customs.
I hired a CHA but he is delaying for AD registration.
Also please let me know how I'll find HS code of any product for exporting.
By HS code how can I know the drawback,
Pls guide n help

29 July 2016 Drawback means the refund of certain amount of duty of customs and duty of central excise that are chargeable on imported and indigenous materials used in the manufacture of exported goods. Goods eligible for drawback applies to
a.) Export goods manufactured / produced out of imported material
b.) Export goods manufactured / produced out of indigenous material
‘AD code registration’ is required to be completed with Customs Department. Authorized Dealer Code (AD code) is a letter received from your bank mentioning the bank’s authorized dealer code which is provided to each bank all over country (RBI).
You can find HS Code in “ITC (HS) Classifications of Export & Import Items” available at DGFT website www.dgft.gov.in . Draw Back rates are available in the Schedule of All India Duty Draw Back Rates available at www.cbec.gov.in
