Doubts Regarding CA Course

Is it necessary to do Graduation for CA course. and can i in between the study period go abroad and take exam there it self.

05 March 2010 CA course can be started before doing graduation by clearing CPT Exam which can be given anytime after passing or appearing for 12th exams.

Also, there is no restriction on going abroad, but you are required to fulfill the articleship requirement of the Course which you can do under any practicing member of the institute whether in India or abroad. Also exams, can be given outside India where ICAI has exams centres.

05 March 2010 Thanks alot. One more thing that I wanted to ask you is that, what if i do only CA and not any graduation. Is it mandatory to do graduation.

05 March 2010 Rightly said by expert, graduation is not must.

But I suggest you to do graduation along with CA for your future. In some courses, which might if u undertake in future requires graduation as a mandatory requirement.
I suggest you to do Graduation along with CA.
