02 July 2011 Sir one of my client is a Welfare Society, How to pass entry Donation of Books and where does it reflect in Receipts & Payments A/c, Income & Exp A/c and Balance Sheet.

Book a/c Dr

to Misc. Income a/c ( income & exp. a/c)

You can treat books as Fixed asset
