we are forming a private ltd company with 2 directos.

1. Is there a compulsion that one of them must be chairman or executive directors?

2.can they both be non executive directors?

1) There is no such compulsion in a pvt. limited co.to appoint one of the two directors as an executive or chairman. For appointment of chairman, please check your Articles, and if ur articles is silent check sec 175.

2) the concept of executive / non-executive directors is not applicable to pvt. company.
