Can anybody provide some case laws holding that interest of co. is separate from its director or shareholders.

Why case law? It is obvious; the very fact that directors, individuals and company are separate legal persons is a good enough basis. But I will give following examples to prove my statements.
When a company is in trouble a shareholder is under no compulsion to contribute. They can just leave the company to die.
Whether a company makes profit or loss the MD or WTD can draw remuneration even if the company bleeds!
