Direct entry to ipcc for cpt student in graduation final yr

I would like to know how should a cpt student who is in degree final year register for ipcc? He had attempted the CPT exam but could not clear it. And he is in degree final year right now. So can he register for IPCC provisionally or does he have to wait for the graduation final year result and then register?

You should apply at that point of time so that you can produce the evidence of passing the exams within 6 months of registration.

when i had called up icai, one person told me i can registration under provisional registration. Another said that i should register after my graduation under conversion scheme cause i am existing ca cpt student. That is really confusing.
