I am private limited company, I want to appoint Director, whether I can appoint director in the EGM itself or else i have to first appoint Additional Director in the Board Meeting which will further confirmed by AGM to appoint as Director.

In EGM you can appoint Director, but their are too many procedural formalitites in that.
Its better to go through normal procedural by first appointing the person as addittional director and then director, les procedure with lesser fee appicable.
