What should I do when my application for DIN
has been rejected saying that "The particulars of your name filled in your application do not match with the particulars of your name in the enclosed evidence.

Whether I have to make new fresh application and pay fees again or there is any other option for correction

Kindly advise me.

14 July 2010 If the DIN application is rejected due to following reasons, you can submit additional documents for rectifying you DIN application, within a period of 60 days.

1)Proof of Identity/ residence is not enclosed or expired.
2)Proof of Date of Birth is not enclosed.
3)Supporting documents are not properly attested
4)Non-submission of affidavit (if required).

On removal of reason for rejection, same DIN will be approved.

In case your DIN application is rejected for some other reason, please obtain a fresh provisional DIN and send a new DIN application to MCA DIN Cell.
