02 September 2011 pls advice on how to go about e-filing of DIN-1 in case of a married woman whose PAN card has her maiden name.Will an affidavit to this effect suffice?

02 September 2011 Dear Sir,

What about the address proof? is there any diff in applicant name and the father name (maiden name).

Usually the DIN form accept the details as per the PAN database. thus you should enter the maiden name as father name, otherwise, you have to change the PAN database through PAN correction form.
