11 September 2010 While uploading income tax return sign with USB token, " can not read file for signing" message appears. The DSC has been registered with tha IT deaparment for boyh Co and Signing person. Kindly advise me at your earliest.

11 September 2010 Please check whether is PAN Based or not.

Because since Aug 2010, PAN Based Digital Signature is required for IT Return.

12 September 2010 my USB token is PAN based and i already registered with the IT department thro e-filing site. After that the above message
'can not read file for signing C\fakepath\ITR_AAABC4876D.xml.'
