whether differential payment of excise duty after removal of goods from factory demands penalty payment or any other demdnd by excise authorities..

If the differential duty is paid within same month then no penalty, if difference is detected after some more period then a simple interest @13% p.a.is payable for the delayed period.
If detected by the authorities and they decides to penalise then there may be penalty equal to 25% duty + interest as above.
If detected by the authorities and they decides to penalise then there may be penalty equal to 25% duty + interest as above.
