I want to know the difference between Retainer fees of Directors and the Directors, Whether ST on reverse mechanism concept applies for applies for Retainer fees received by directors?

Yes .The retainership fees are paid to them as consultants and for advising the board. They are not like sitting fees to be excluded.
Hence the same will be included under the ST reverse charge mechnism.
