Balamce sheet date- the ending date of the period at which balancesheet is prepared e.g. 31 March, 20XX
and reporting date- the date oon which balancesheet if actually prepared and signed by Directors, generally 2 or 3 months fater B/s date when a/cs are fully prepared,
