sir, my daughter was on govt. job in 2009 at that time she purchase laptop of rs 46000/- on 26/09/2009. now she is working at diagnostic center and getting professional fee 'kya laptop per can she claim depriciation if yes then on what amount for assesment yr 20014-15 previosly she is not claiming depriciation on laptop

Previously Laptop was used for personal purpose and now using for Profession. So, now she can show the Realisable value of Laptop and charge the depreciation on the same value.
