can Asset be written of fully at end of its life ??

Yes it can be fully written off. But practiclly, to keep the track of assets, assets atleast 1 Re. is kept as WDV. Also 95% of depreciation is calculated for calculating manegerial remuneration...

If realisable value is zero then you can write off fully at the end of its life. Otherwise you have to restore the realisable value.
