I wanted to know the depreciation rate and method applicable for a company engaged in filling LPG cylinders.

The company gets LPGas and cylinders. Its job is to fill this. i wanted to know whether any special rates are applicable for them during the period 2002-2010.

25 May 2011 There are no special depreciation rates for LPG Filling Plant under Companies Act.

Special Depreciation rates were prescribed for Gas Cylinders only.
