Depreciation for 12 hrs working - single or double shift

This query is : Resolved

18 February 2009 Can any one tell me about the definition of shifts in terms of working hours.

Whether 8 hrs= single shift

What if our company is working for 12 hours in part year. How do we considered it either double shift or single shift.

What will be the depreciation rates for machines for the full financial year 2008-09 if the above fact is considered?

Whether we have to calculate depreciation separately & proportionately for day wise and shift worked?

Please guide me

18 February 2009 two shift meens Day & Night. its already mention in Factory Licence.
