16 March 2012 From the date of asset put to use depreciation would be charge. From the date of starting of construction till the date of completion of construction it capital work in progress and no depreciation shall be charge

16 March 2012 According to Income Tax you will caculate depreciation put to use date.

And

According to Company Act, the depreciate is calculate from the date of purchase.
