deposit of ITR V

I have filed a return elctronically on 30 march, 2009. I want to know that ITR-V can be filed upto 13th april or 14th April.Plz ans as it is very urgent

15 days time is there for deposit of itr V. Eventhough the due date falls on 14th April since 14th april is a already declared holiday you have to submit the same on 13th April. Only if it is a suddenly declared holdiay you can enjoy the benefit of the holiday by a day.

IF LAST DAY HAPPENS TO BE A HOLIDAY THEN NEXT WORKING DAY IS TREATED AS LAST DAY, NOT THE PREVIOUS. THERE IS A CBDT CIRCULAR TO THIS EFFECT ISSUED IN 1999. SO IN YOUR CASE THE LAST DAY 14tH APRIL & SINCE IT BEING A DECLARED HOLIDAY YOU CAN CONSIDER 15th APRIL A SYOUR LAST DAY FOR SUBMISSION OF ITR V
