Dear All,
As we all know that the DEPB scheme has been withdrawn from 1st October, 2011, can any one tell me the consequences of this major change in incentive scheme with respect to the followings:
1. Licenses in hand.
2. Export sale made after withdrawal of DEPB scheme.

actually Under the 14-year-old DEPB scheme, the government spends annually about Rs 8,500 crore for re-reimbursing exporters on the taxes paid on import equivalent content of export products.
