My Query is this whether DEPB schemes are applicable for Exporters or Withdrawn? we are Manufacturer and Exporter of Stainless steelas BARS and Fasteners . so we just want to know Can we avail DEPB Scheme benefit or not?

The 14-year-old Duty Entitlement Pass Book (DEPB), the popular tax refund scheme for exporters, came to an end on 30.09.2011.on this place A revised Duty Drawback will replace DEPB, which has been a popular scheme among exporters of engineering, automobile and chemical products.
Under DEPB, the government's annual spending was about Rs 8,500 crore for reimbursing exporters.

if your payment had been released then apply for issuance the DEPB licence, & avoid to late cut.
