We are the exporters of Fresh Processed Fruits to various countires, my query is: we are procuring the packing materials used for exports locally by paying the excise duty, please let us know whether we can claim both the DEPB benefit from DGFT and rebate on the excise duty from Central Excise.Please clarify

EITHER YOU CAN taken the benefit on drawback (1%)
OR 4% DEPB IF YOUR ITEMS :-
Fruit jams/ fruit Jelly packed in OTS cans AND
Fruit juice Pulp/concentrates, packed in OTS cans.
and please noted you can also take the excise refund on dbk.

Dear Sir, thanks for your reply, actually we export Pomegranate Arils (Pomegrante Fresh Seeds) packed in EPS Boxes (Thermocol Boxes, here we are not eligible for DBK, can we claim the duty paid on EPS boxes as well as DEPB, please advise
