Demand still stands in traces after amount deposited

Sir,
There was demand for FY14-15 for Q_1, in 24Q a sum of Rs:- 15640. which was deposited 2 month back through HDFC online under 400 demand raised by ITD. but today When I see through Traces I found the same amount demand is still stand for the same quarter. I want to know would I have to make a revise TDS return and need to add the challan which was deposited for demand. Then the demand would be rectified or will it be disappered by itself.

Yes, you need to revise E-TDS return inorder to make effect of penalty / interest paid.
