I filed my ITR 4 for FY 2012-13. The CPC Bangalore has raised a demand of Rs 20000 by arbitrarily adding Rs 2 lakhs to my Income. Please advise whom should I approach for relief? Do I have to approach CPC or local office of ITO under whose jurisdiction I come? Under what section should I file an appeal for quashing the demand? If CPC is to be approached, how can I file my application on line?

You file 154 rectification by showing the mistake in process and again upload your ITR-4 which was uploaded at the time of filing of original return. but before to going to that please confirm is any public transaction through your PAN which forget by you at the time of filing to disclose.
And don't worry for that mistake because of due to the some software and some rush of heavy work such type of mistakes and errors taking place. In one of the my case also same mistake is made but my luck is it computed tax properly as per my calculation.
