Delay in submitting secondment form

Dear Friends,
I joined for Secondment in Articleship on 02/12/2014 ,The time limit for submitting the secondment form was 30 days.My office Staff said that they would submit the form when they go for filing income tax return of our clients as both I.T.Office & ca institute are nearby.In January I took study leave as I had Exam in May 2015. when I joined office again after exam I realized that the form was actually not submitted to institute at all, The period of 30 days has expired .Please guide me what should I do now. Will institute accept the Form or Not . Please reply soon

You need not worry.
The form can be submitted by you after paying the delay fees. If the delay is less than 6 months, the condonation fees would be Rs. 300. If more than that, Rs. 1,000/-.
The Form should be sent with the condonation fees as DD drawn in favour of the Secretary, ICAI Regional Office, A letter of condonation from you and your principal.
Please don't worry. It is a simple procedure only. I will not invalidate your results and all.
Be confident. All the best for the results !!
