Please tell me if any Director complain about a CA to ICAI then whether degree of CA would be forfeited just on the basis of a complaint...i mean to say if director just make a fake complaint that this CA is not good then whether ICAI will Forfeit degree?

03 November 2012 The institute has a good mechanism to probe into any matter alleged against its member. Only when the member is found guilty and depending upon the gravity of misconduct, the institute pronounces its decision. The decision may include suspension of member for a particular period or permanent suspension. Moreover the institute gives an opportunity of being heard to the concerned member before pronouncing such decision.

03 November 2012 Actually in an interview the employer asked something that have u done this then candidate said sir although i have not done this assignment in articleship but i can do this because i have theoretical knowledge to this so i can do practicals also...she replied very politely...bt employer said i will report to ICAI how are you behaving...and the girl with eyes in tear left the place...

03 November 2012 In such case, there is no need to worry. The institute does not action, merely on the basis of allegations. If you have not done an y misconduct or have in any manner not affected the dignity of ca profession,than nothing will happen.Forget this matter
