15 June 2011 Yes, The council decides to permit graduates to join CA Course and take article ship without passing cpt.

However, commerce graduates should have a passing percentage of 55% and non commerce graduates should have 60% percentage in their degree.

however the above proposal has been sent to the Government of India for approval. Generally it will be approved by Government of India.

16 June 2011 Agreed with CA S R Munaga.
.
But it may take time of 3-6 months.
.
The reason of such decision is that now members are facing acute shortage of articled clerks due to change in training system.
.
Previously also the Institute was having Foundation Exams for 12th passed students and Graduation as entitlement of direct articled training.

22 June 2011 i appeared cpt of recent attempt, if i will supposed to fail, what happend. (i am a graduate.passed with 79%of marks )now iam eligible for ipcc ?
