Dear Sir/ Ma'am,
I have a Joint property in my n my wife's name.
Loan is on my name.
Can both of us claim 50% deduction for both the principal as well as the interest part.

Loan should have been to joint name also. So only u will be able to claim the deduction

Loan as well as repayment should be made by both of u by Joint Account or any other mode by 50% each
