Dear Experts,
Please confirm can an employee claim deduction under section 80C for the insurance premium paid towards Insurance Policy of his/her dependent parents.

as per 80c...policy should be taken on his own life, life of spouse or any child...
if its medical insurance premium...than it can be claimed u/s 80D
if its medical insurance premium...than it can be claimed u/s 80D
