11 January 2013 Dear Experts,

I want to know that u/s 80TTA, 10000/- SB interest exemption from which A.Y. will be in action? Also aware me from Rajiv Gandhi Equity Saving Scheme, deduction lilmit & in action from which A.Y.?

11 January 2013 (1) 80TTA has been inserted w.e.f. A.Y 2013-14.

(2) Sec 80CCG - Rajiv Gandhi Equity Saving Scheme : If all the conditions specified therein are satisfied, the amount of deduction is 50% of the amount invested in notified equity shares. However, the amount of deduction under this section cannot be more than Rs 25000/-. This section has been inserted w.e.f. AY 2013-14.

Thanks for your help but i have read that 80CCG will be in action W.E.F. 1st April, 2013. Please explain it.
