Deduction u/s 80c

03 February 2010 Deduction u/s 80C towards repayment of principal amount of housing loan to the extent of Rs. 100000 can be availed. However, for claiming loss from Housing property w.r.t interest paid, the assessee should get possession.
My question is if the assessee hasnot yet received possession and paying installment. can the assessee avail deduction u/s 80c?
