06 November 2021 Thanks. As per intimation from CPC while processing ITR2 for a senior citizen, they did not consider claim for medical expenses, even when there was no health insurance. Hence this doubt arose. Do not know why they did not consider this claim and levied a demand. Request for rectification for current financial year has not been enabled in portal yet. Please suggest what can be done?

06 November 2021 1. It is technical fault in processing. Many of our client have the same issue. Schedule D is missing in pdf file, while same exists in Jason!! Just check you filled schedule D properly.
2. When rectification window opens, file rectification request.
