08 October 2015 PARENT INCLUDE STEP PARENT PROVIDED ONE OF PARENT IN COMMON I.E. BIOLOGICAL PARENT. THUS STEP MOTHER IS COVERRED UNDER PARENT PROVIDED SHE IS MARRIED WITH BIOLOGICAL FATHER. HENCE DEDUCTION U/S 80D ALLOWED.
