an assessee is eligible for any deduction if he pay medical policy premium for stepmother under 80D of income tax act 1961?

PARENT INCLUDE STEP PARENT PROVIDED ONE OF PARENT IN COMMON I.E. BIOLOGICAL PARENT. THUS STEP MOTHER IS COVERRED UNDER PARENT PROVIDED SHE IS MARRIED WITH BIOLOGICAL FATHER. HENCE DEDUCTION U/S 80D ALLOWED.
