10 August 2013 sir kindly advise,
> by mistake deduction(80TTA) on saving a/c not claimed
>while int added in total income
>now assessee ask if non considering of 80tta deduction is lead to penalties/fine
>then revised otherwise leave it

10 August 2013 there is no penalty on non claiming of exemption.

but you can revise the return if you want to claim the same.
