Yes. Interim dividend is dividend paid between 2 AGMs.

But section 205 says interim dividend can be paid first and appropriated later
So wat if i provide for 2013

If you have to pay interim dividend for the year 2013, then you have to appropriate it in the annual a/cs of 1.4.2012 to 31.3.2013.
If you have paid dividend on 31.3.2012, it means it is the dividend for year 2012
If you have paid dividend on 31.3.2012, it means it is the dividend for year 2012
